Interior and Exterior Tiling
we cover all aspects of tiling ranging from mosaic features to large formats, offering a selection of patterns and designs to make your property unique. The combinations are endless and we can walk you through the options. Whether you are looking for a neutral design for a rental property or high end products we have a solution for you.
Adjustable Support Pedestals
Mainly used for exterior tiling injection moulded polypropylene support pedestals offer a permanent solution for patios and balconies. Each pedestal can support up to 400kg and offer excellent drainage through 2mm joints to the void below allowing water to disperse. We offer a range of 600x600mm 20mm thick slip resistant porcelain tiles porcelain slabs. gecko tiling offers a full survey and subfloor preparation if required.
Under-tile heating systems
If you require a heated floor an electric under tile heating cable can be included, controlled by either a programmable digital or manual thermostat. We include 10mm insulation board to ensure maximum product efficiency. Power is either 150 or 200 watts per square metre depending on the heat required.
Floor and wall preparation
Preparation is the key for any tile installation to ensure a professional finish. We prepare uneven surfaces using a variety of methods that include subfloor smoothing and levelling compounds, water proof cement backer boards, tanking and waterproof coatings.
Victorian and Geometric designs
We offer a complete design and fit or fit only service to provide you beautiful bespoke flooring for interior and exterior locations with endless colour and shapes to choose from. We can also provide a full colour CAD drawing so you can see exactly how your finished product will look. gecko tiling provides detailed quotations that includes floor preparation and levelling if required.
Renovation and repairs
Using a variety of cleaning and polishing methods we can transform existing floors. Natural materials such as stone and granite can become dull, stained or lacklustre with time. We can clean, polish or seal with minimum of disruption. Damaged Victorian or Edwardian tiles can be sourced, replaced and resealed.
Detailed quotations
Your site survey and quotation will include a schedule of works, product list, available start dates and estimated duration. There is a charge for the Victorian CAD service which includes upto three design changes. We include our list of terms and conditions with all of our quotes
